Reflective Writing Originally in my first draft i didn't even have a thesis statement i just began writing. Thats why my first draft was so unorganized and messy. it lacked a backbone in the essay, it also could've been that i had waited till the last minute to even write my paper. my first draft was just a brain dump, my final was put together better actually had a thesis statement that lead to organizing my essay better. i stopped using i think statements and just wrote about how the authors convinced the readers of their stance on fake news. I included logos and pathos without saying the words logos and pathos in my essay.the peer review isn't something I really looked at. I felt so much better after my student conference i feel like i took the most away from being able to ask questions and get real time feed back. i also figured how to write a rhetorical analysis essay again which I haven't done in three years. the advice I would've given myself two weeks ago would be to set aside time for writing and not try to write it all at once, maybe do it bit by bit and take time to go back reorganize things until it comes out perfect.
